Research Engineer, Catalysis and Carbon Conversion, ISCE2

Requirements

• Job Summary: We are looking for motivated, self-driven candidates to join a dynamic and highly collaborative team of scientists and engineers at A*STAR ISCE2, based on Jurong Island.
• The successful candidate will contribute to research and development work in catalysis for carbon conversion.
• The key scope of work includes: Contribute to the ideation and development of new catalytic materials for the conversion of small molecules to valuable chemicals and fuels, including CO2/CO, CH4, N2 etc conversion.
• Prepare and characterize catalysts and participate in data analysis and interpretation.
• Run catalyst reactions in various type of reactors for thermal catalysis (major), electrocatalysis, and plasma catalysis.
• Document and maintain accurate test records and reports, prepare documents for technology disclosure, patent filing, and research publications.
• Ensure adherence to departmental policies, safety guidelines, and compliance requirements.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and team members.
